Yucca rupicola hybridizes readily with Yucca pallida, resulting in this cultivar with beautiful gray-blue, twisted leaves. A ideal yucca for small spaces; this petite, stemless yucca forms a clump of about 2 feet tall by 2 to 3 feet wide. It can produce 5-foot-tall, open spikes of creamy white flowers in the late spring and summer. Thrives in full sun to part shade, provided the soil is well-drained. Cold hardy to -10º F. It is also a host plant to several Skipper butterflies.
