This variety of corn is an heirloom field corn producing tall, 8-12′ stalks and long cobs with flat, slightly dented kernels with skin that is easy to remove by soaking. This versatile corn has excellent flavor and is used for roasting or processing into cornmeal, flour, grits, and hominy.
