Yucca filamentosa Common name: Adam’s Needle. Zone 4 to 10. Full sun to part shade, Plants reach 3 to 4 feet tall and 4 to 6 feet wide, clump-forming perennial. Growth rate: moderate; Evergreen (in some or all zones).
From early to midsummer, spectacular sturdy flower stalks rise 4 to 6 feet tall from the center of the plant. The individual bell-shaped, creamy white flowers are 2 to 3 inches long and dangle from the stems like earrings.
