Wild Angel – (Thomas Johnson, R. 2006). Seedling T101A. TB, 42″ (107 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards white with a faint gold halo; style arms white with gold crests. Falls have a white ground with a 1/2″ gold patch on the outside edge of the haft extending 1/3 way down, old gold veins between beards and this edge, violet veins from the beard halfway down blending into violet sanding becoming almost solid at the margin, and a 3/8″ gilt gold rim. Beards are bright marigold with a slight hook at the end. The flower is ruffled and laced with a slight spicy fragrance. Parentage: ‘Notorious’ X ‘Goldkist’. Mid-America 2006.
