Why Cows Gossip (Douglas Kanarowski, 2015) is a tall bearded iris reaching 44″ (112 cm), blooming midseason to late. This award-winning variety features plum-methyl-violet standards and golden-plum-violet style arms. The falls are a silvery medium blue-violet, subtly veined and rimmed with plum-brown, accented by prominent bronze-brown shoulders. Its beard is white-based with vivid red-orange-tangerine tips.
