Gorgeous thick white stems and glossy green leaves. More open habit than Prize Choy and more commonly used as a baby leaf variety in salad and braising green mixes. A standard for mild brassica flavor and thick succulent leaves. Excellent for baby leaf, open habit.

Companion plants: Beans, Beets, Cabbage, Carrot, Cucumber, Marjoram, Peas, Strawberry.
Far from: Fennel, Garlic.
Planting tip: Direct-sow seeds from early spring through midsummer. Plant them at a depth of ¼-½”, spaced 1″ apart. They will germinate in 4-7 days.||Provide ample, consistent moisture and thin to 6″ spacings.
Harvesting tip: Once plants reach roughly 3″, can start harvesting small leaves, 2-4 at a time, or cut entire head off for a one-time harvest. Harvest is 30-50 days after planting, but flavor is best in fall after a few cold nights.
Storage tip: Wrap in a damp paper towel and store in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. Can be blanched and frozen for longer storage.
