Like the colossus from down under, this Iris has a dark brooding presence. The wide falls, swimming with elan, are as dark as the seafloor at night. Moody blue gray standards snap like a whale’s tale, seconds before it crashes below the surface of the bounding main. Two branches easily produce 8 double-socketed buds per stalk.
