Upright standards are garnet rose, and the ruffled falls are plush bright ruby. This beautifully colored red bitone is a new addition from Australia. Plus, it has a lovely musky fragrance! It blooms in early, mid, and late seasons, reaching 38 inches in height.
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
