‘Salmon Tecolote®’ Ranunculus, oneof the carefully bred Tecolote® series, is a flower that exemplifies theelegance and delicacy of Persian buttercups. The silken petals are a delicateshade of salmon held in full blossoms atop long, straight stems. Foliage islacy and very attractive. Persian buttercups appreciate a cool spring. Inclimates where they are hardy, plant in fall in moist, well-drained soil twoinches below the soil line. They will emerge in early spring and bloom withlarge, multi-petaled flowers in mid-spring. For best results, ensure thatwinter soils are not wet. For cooler regions where they are not hardy, plant inearly spring after the last frost, for a slightly later bloom time; the bulbs canbe planted in pots to make them easier to bring indoors or lifted in fall andkept in a frost-free location.
