Sedum pachyclados Common Name: stonecrop; Syn. Rhodiola pachyclados Zones 3 to 9. Full sun. Plants reach 2 to 6 inches tall and 8 to 12 inches wide; creeping groundcover habit; semi-evergreen. Growth rate: fast.
Sedum pachyclados forms a flat, dense mound of glossy blue-green small, tight rosettes. Clusters of white star-shaped flowers appear in late spring to early summer and again late summer to early fall. Rhizomes are stoloniferous and may surface a distance from the parent. Sedum pachyclados withstands wet winters better than other Sedum.
