Rain Lilies love the rain! Our Rain Lilies (Zephranthes) Mix of white, yellow and rosy-pink flowers come into flower after a good rain and will do so repeatedly during late summer. Also called Fairy Lilies, they are a wonderful addition to a border or at the base of trees where they will naturalize to form colorful colonies. Children love them. Plant in compost-enriched soil as Rain Lilies like very rich, slightly acid soil. Slow to emerge, growth won’t appear until late summer. Perennial in zones 7-11, grow them as an annual in colder zones. Nice in containers too. 6-10″ tall.
