Green beads, sweet purple stems, toothy red veined leaves resembling red Russian kale. Young leaves are great for salads, mature leave are similar to kale. Comes from crosses between “Green Goliath” and two kales. Original Breeder: Frank Morton from Wild Garden Seeds.

Planting tip: Soaking in warm water for up to 12H is recommended for improved germination. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before planting date.||Plant outside as soon as the chance of hard frost has passed.
Harvesting tip: Harvest when heads are still tight. Check often as heads loosen. Cool right after harvest to maintain quality.
