Old gold standards have a heavy infusion of rose violet in the center. Falls are a rosy lavender with a deeper haft and fall edge. The hafts are also slightly touched gold on either side of the beard. Rather large flowers are lightly ruffled and laced and fragrant.

Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
