This is a flat form iris. The style arms are buff with white-edged red crests; there are six white falls that are slightly yellow at the edges and hafts, dotted with wine-red plicata; the beards are orange and barely visible beneath the style arms; there is a faint scent. 35 inches in a midseason bloom
Iris rhizomes are best divided and transplanted after the plants finish blooming and have enough time to store nutrition in their roots. July through September is the best time to dig them up in Ohio. All Iris are grown on my farm and shipped from my home, bareroot with foliage and roots attached.
