Popular among growers for its uniformity, intense color and bolt tolerance. Large, loose heads are green at the base and very dark red at the ruffled leaf edges. Retains its crisp fresh flavor throughout the season. Available as raw and pelleted seed. All-season lettuce. Bolt resistant. Disease Resistance Details. Intermediate Resistance: Bottom Rot or Rhizoctonia, Downy Mildew, tip Burn / MTO-30. Leaf varieties are more cold tolerant.

Storage tip: Can be stored in sand in root cellar at ~1-2°C.
