Symptoms of maganese-deficient plants are stunted, leaves are yellow and mottled, with the symptoms expressed on the young leaves first. High pH soils often induce manganese deficiency by holding manganese in an insoluble form.
Mix 1/4 to 1/2 tsp per gallon of water. Use at first signs of deficiency, and repeat every other week until deficiency is corrected.
