Soft Caress Mahonia: Evergreen, easy to grow sub-shrub 3-4′ tall x 3′ wide has compact growth with pinnate, divided leaflets to 12″ long. Spikes of bright yellow flowers in winter that are fragrant, followed by light blue berries that birds enjoy. Great in containers. Part sun to part shade. Medium water. Seacoast, clay, sand, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer resistant.
