Rising Sun Cone Bush: Evergreen bushy shrub with red, upright stems 4-6′ tall and wide. At branch terminals are cone-like flowers surrounded by cream and bright red bracts. Flowers appear in winter- spring. Full sun to part sun. Low to medium water. Good for containers and cut flowers. Attracts birds, hummingbirds and bees. Seacoast, wind, sand, clay, heat and drought tolerant once established. Deer and fire resistant.
