Iris siberica ‘White Swirl’ Common name: Siberian Iris. Zones 3 to 9. Full sun to part shade. Plants reach 30 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide; Herbaceous perennial clumps will grow together to inhibit weeds. Growth rate: Moderate. Wide, flared, ivory-white self and falls with a touch of gold near the throat blooms on rigid stems rise above a clump of arching, narrow, grass-like, linear leaves. Blooms in early summer. Deadheading will not extend this variety’s blooms.
