Grand Alliance – (Gordon Plough, R. 1964). Seedling 60-80-8. TB, 34″ (86 cm). Early midseason to late bloom. Standards spectrum violet; falls slightly darker; beard brown to blue with brown tips. Parentage: ‘Polka Time’ X ‘Allegiance’. Introduced by Eden Road in 1965. Awards: Honorable Mention 1966; Award of Merit 1969.
