‘Fata Confetto’ is an interesting hybrid involving the subtropical Passionfruit, Passiflora edulis and the temperate Maypop, Passiflora incarnata. This hardy passionflower produces an edible fruit that is purportedly quite delicious, while also gaining some of the cold hardiness from its Maypop parent.
Passionflower plants are adaptable and easy to grow, but prefer good sun. As a climbing vine, a trellis, fence, arbor, or other suitable vertical surface will improve vigor and productivity.
Cold hardy to USDA Zone 7 or to 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
