A dark leaved cultivar of the native bush honeysuckle brought to us by the Bloomin’ Easy brand. Leaves become more red in fall. Yellow flowers in summer are popular with pollinators.
Note: Diervilla splendens is derived from Diervilla sessilifolia and Diervilla lonicera, and is not releated to the invasive honeysuckles; you are safe planting it.
