Detroit Dark Red (Beta vulgaris) sets the standard for red beets. Dark red 2-3″ round beets have sweet red flesh and tasty edible greens. Can tolerate temperature variations. Standard seed packet contains 1.5 g (about 90 seeds). Jumbo packet contains 1 oz (about 1,600 seeds).
