Dark Blizzard – (Bee Warburton, R. 1983). Seedling 28Y-2. IB, 25″ (64 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards very dark violet; falls same (nearest to RHS 86A), lightened by white rays from white patch around beard, edged darkest pure violet; violet (86D) beard tipped white; slight fragrance. ‘Triple-Ripple’ X ‘Gentle Air’. Warburton 1984. Honorable Mention 1987.
